SAP Products

The SAP products with which we work may be described both in terms of the SAP Solution (such as SAP ERP) and the SAP Technology Platform used to deliver that solution (such as SAP NetWeaver).

Most SAP clients and users prefer to talk in terms of the SAP Solution as this has much more meaning from a ‘business’ viewpoint. Technical consultancies traditionally tend to be much more focused on the actual SAP Technology Platforms on which the solutions are built. Whilst this distinction is understandable, it can sometimes be confusing to a client as their systems are constantly referred to by different names depending on with whom they are dealing. At sidADM we think it is important that we avoid ambiguity at all times – it is essential that you not only know what services we can provide but also exactly what services and products you require. To this end, the following pages briefly define the range of SAP solutions with which we work, their underlying technology platforms, and the relationship between them.

Please do not assume that if we do not explicitly refer to an SAP Solution by name on this site then we do not work with that release. We have expertise in all current SAP solutions but we may be guilty of referring to the technical work we conduct in terms of the underlying SAP Technical Platforms. We are, after all, a technology consultancy and some of our technical services demand that we use the technology platform terminology.
